Not for auction night, OneCause is purpose-built for mobile bidding and live auctions. Dream Pilot replaces the disconnected work around the event: sponsorship, board outreach, pipeline, seating, relationships, and event-night check-in and payments. If your gala has no auction, Dream Pilot may be all you need.
Does Dream Pilot do mobile bidding or auctions?
No. Dream Pilot is not an auction or mobile-bidding tool. If auctions are central to your event, pair it with an auction platform, and use Dream Pilot for the sponsorship, outreach, seating, and relationship work around the event.
Can Dream Pilot check guests in on event night?
Yes. Every guest gets an Apple or Google Wallet pass, and your volunteers scan it at the door from any phone, no app and no hardware. Guests without a pass are checked in by name from the same screen. Staff can also take a card, check, or cash payment at the desk, and guests can give from their own phone with a QR code.
